Today is a very very interesting day. Totemo omoishiroi.

Assembly - certain people completely misinterpreted my straightforward statement for something sinisterly warped and symbolic of my demeanour during my more rowdy times. Might be attributed to the numerous subtext I used in the past.

Bball - fun. Eechong really has good "shooting technique". I sense an immense ego building up somewhere.

Econs - Only thing i absorbed was that she could go faster. Time to find a mc.

Along the way to lunch, a bunch of us (undisclosed) decided to talk about a certain someone (undisclosed). Our verdict was that since he was so altruistic in his love for the XX species, he must be electron rich in chem context. A tendency to form dative bonds, and permeates a -ve aura.

Back in a44 after our lunch, ning impressed us with his skills in stacking cards. It is my firm belief that everyone is born with a certain amount of stat points, be it luck, int, str, con, dex... or misc. Seeing him accomplish his feat has made clear his stat distribution XD.

You owe me for this. You really do. I haven't blogged for 3 days on my main and I bothered to blog on this dead one out of sheer altruism for my fellow toda-deprived brethen.

Btw, she's starring in some upcoming channel u show, can't say much about the acting, and its during prime time, the time where most of you have dinner, so you can't do the obvious without risking appendicitis, so in other words, i wish you good luck drooling and eating at the same time.

Now a little note on japanese culture - they love kids. Its true. Yoyo hope we all had fun last friday/saturday at our class learning journey!! I've posted some pics here, but i'll upload the rest soon.. anyway it was great that our class could bond together through the whacky activities we had :). The not-so-tasty bbq food, hide-and-seek which never turned out the way we wanted, extermination of the cockroaches at LT2, and ning rui's emotional rendition of Tong Hua, and not to forget all the crazy stuff I went thru with jeremy, weiren and zi teng *winks*:)

This is why.

1) Hady has a freaking powerful voice. In comparison, Jonathan simply has a low, husky voice. Jonathan Leong tried SUPER hard to control his notes, but it was way too technical for people to grasp. Instead, Hady went for the big finisher with awesome vocal power. Today, the powerful voice was translated into superb range-breaking notes, carried great.

2) Jonathan Leong picked really mono-octave songs, with barely any "highs". Whereas, Hady's song choice was perfect for him - his songs went straight into a 2 minute long chorus. That worked.

3) Look at the audience, they cheered 5 times longer for Hady.

When Jonathan finished his song, the judges would go on about how Jonathan is such an inspiration to Singapore music and all that.

When Hady finished singing, the judges simply went..

Oh my goodness.

Heyy i'm feeling rather stressed up and i guess most of you are too... but come to think of it this is only such a small exam compared to our A lvls next yr, so maybe we should just relax and not mug too hard. HI EVERYONE It's koksteclub outing today 5th September 2006!

Today was pretty gay! We all met at 2-230 at Orchard control station, and then we went to lido. Guess what! After that some dumbass made us go cine and ky the shid bought CHAI LAI ANGELS! Man! We started a new Koksterclub Respect List, but it wasn't finished.

today, we set out to do cip for the straits times pocket money fund. everything went well, just like how a normal flag day would end up like. except for one part when some of us were outside guanyin temple competing with other organizations for donations. and since they were more decently dressed than us ie. robes, bright yellow jackets, posters, blahblah, we got owned.

but that's not the point of today's post.

after cip, james, keefe, yixuan, benny and me met mitchell, shawn and ningrui at paradiz and we entered the arcade where daytona games went at 18 cents each and lan for 90 cents per hour. that's dirt cheap btw.

and while the rest were playing, james and me stepped outside the shop, where we came across this wonderful toy grabbing machine, costing one dollar per try. we decided to give it a try, since its one dollar anyway, but after the first loss, and when everyone came out, we knew we were hooked. nevertheless, the profits were not only the toys, but the experience of it all.

this was what we got after 3 tries....

on the 4th try....

and after that we kept trying and trying for some jinxed mickey mouse which benny so badly wanted that he blew 5 bucks on it i think. turn on your speakers for maximum enjoyment.

imagine doing this for like 10 times or so.

1) slotting the coin in and hoping that this would be the chance.
2) moving the claw around, looking from all 4 directions and strategizing what would be the best way to get that stupid thing out.
3) pressing the button with watchful eyes.

-jap women are not fat, it is VERY RARE to see a fat jap woman. maybe cause of the food?

It's been damn sad day for me in sch today. alot of mixed emotions.

it started when i received daniel's sms last night. joan chan had just passed away. then later in school wenxin totally pissed me off. i ended up having to see tay meng kiat after school for my outburst in class.

even though we are 2 complete strangers, with her being much older than me, i felt a strong tinge of sadness and regret upon receiving the sms. i thought of the many news articles i read about her and her struggle against cancer.

it's really sad how such a young, promising life could turn into a total unfortunate story in just a few years. joan chan, softball captain, able student and a great friend to many of her peers. and just because this damned thing called cancer her whole life turns upside down.

i read about how she took the A levels despite her ongoing battle against cancer and i was really filled with deep admiration. if someone can do that while leading a tough battle against such an illness i believe all of us should not be afraid of anything that lies ahead.

her passing on should serve as a source of inspiration, a source of hope for us and also a reminder that we should never give up and strive till the end in whatever we want to do.

rest in peace, joan, my heart goes out to you and your family.

hello. i'm here to talk abt our wonderful maths lecturer.

she was our first ever maths lecturer. she taught us functions. now she's back for differentiation II. jokes.

i was bored today. and i couldn't stand it any longer. so i decided to count her 'alright's and 'effectively's. since the first lecture on functions, i realised her public speaking hasn't improved at all. it's still alright here, effectively there. LOL. lucky i didn't count the 'ok's.

so here it is. my little slip of paper.

and as u can see. over about 50 minutes, 42 'effectively's and a whopping 261 'alright's. and the small words at the side say 'Best lap: 6 alrights in 10 sec at 10.32am'.

yes i have a very statistical mind. it went like 'let's look at example 1 alright, for this example alright, it is concave downwards alright, so alright...'

how i got jacked during chem test

shit chem test today was bad. i got jacked like hell.

before the test in the canteen during lunch i heard pple the words 'astatine' and 'chem test'. so i was like oooooh. interesting.

so during chem test i was at question 3 and i saw the question was 'Write the electronic configuration of A_'. when i saw the first part i didnt even read the question properly i flipped the paper over immediately to check the proton number of At cause i wanted to start work asap.

i remember thinking to myself, "wow not bad the chem teachers quite cunning want us to write electronic configuration of such a big element.."

so i was like gogogo and i started with the basics, 1s2, 2s2, 2p6, 3s2, 3p6, 3d10, 4s2, 4p6, 4d10... then i stopped. and calculated the total number of electrons so far. total so far was 46 electrons and i was like wah lao the proton number's 85 leh!

so i continued! gogogo now become f subshell already. wah then i was thinking f can take on how many electrons, and after 1 minute i realised 14. so gogogo!

1s2, 2s2, 2p6, 3s2, 3p6, 3d10, 4s2, 4p6, 4d10, 4f14, 5s2, 5p6, 5d10, 6s2, 6p5.

(not bad i actually got it correct, i just checked the formula online)

so i was like whew. since when they test us 4f subshell! interesting interesting!

then i started counting the total electrons, and i was satisfied it was 85! wheee heee then i turned the question paper back to check on part two then WAIT A MINUTE.

it was 'Find the electronic configuration of As".

ggxx. wasted like more than 5 minutes.

fortunately for the sake of this dying planet (or at least our puny little schl) cool ain't cool anymore. now's its kool man. K for kokster. now being koksterish is cool. basically for the ill-advised koksterish refers to the state of mind of being an idiot, though an eloquent idiot who has views that attract attention. no sarcasm here. anyway back to kool.

kool is much better. kool deserves more. kudos to all those kool koksters who take up the fight against cool. rebels u have my respect. but for those who just focus on being cool, on being hip, on being popular, on acting like idiots, on seeking attention, maybe its just you. you ain't cool nor kool. u're sad.

guys! we softballers are having a src softball tournament during the march holidays!

gogogo. today we had our first match, we won 14-0 against jjc.

next match against hci, this coming thursday!

here's our schedule:

thursday we have 1 match, 2.30pm vs HCI.

friday we have 2 matches, 12.15pm vs ACS(I) and 5.15pm vs VJC.

saturday we have 1 match, 1.15pm vs NJC.

sunday we have 1 match, 12.15pm vs TPJC.

following tpjc at 4.30pm there will be a prize presentation, if we win anything that is.so pple! those who are free and are in town next week.. come support us! the matches are all at the padang. gogogo!

p.s. yes that means i cant go for class outing:(

hi everyone.

this is my first post here.
hopefully more people will decide to blog on our class blog,

tmrw's the last day of term 1,
ushering in the start of the hols (screw the hols hw).
